This morning I embarked on the drive of a lifetime as my friend Amy is moving from Vermont back to California. She has spend the last 15 years adapting her California self to New England culture and climate. It's time to move back home to California and I am very blessed to be accompanying her on this adventure.
It was an exhausting first day as it seemed to take forever to finally leave New England. We started at my house on the Canadian border of New Hampshire and drove most of the state of Vermont (which seemed to never end). When then drove through parts of NY and NJ before doing a drive through of Philadelphia (where a Starbucks mug was purchased of course). We have concluded the first day of trek in Hockessin, DE where my wonderful cousin and her family graciously offered us, the weary travelers, rest and refuge from the relentless highways.
Stay tuned for more updates.
